Faunara — V. The Eagle

The light,
held in talon.

A hand-carved eagle's talon in white gold, closing around a full sphere of fire opal like a captured sun — drawn from The Peak, the high realm where the air thins and the world falls away. Made by hand. Yours to wear.

The piece

What the heights
refuse to surrender.

An eagle's talon, hand-carved in white gold and textured scale by scale, closes around a luminous sphere of fire opal — a fragment of caught light, no two ever alike. A diamond-set bail crowns it.

It carries the weight of a piece many times its price, and the intimacy of something made, by hand, for you alone.

$215, and it shows like $3,000.

Sculptural carving, a full opal sphere and a hand-set diamond bail — couture-level work, released direct in a small numbered edition.

The maker

One pendant. One set of hands.

Nothing here is stamped out by the thousand. Each Eagle is carved, opal-set and finished to order by a single artisan — talon by talon, claw by claw — which is exactly why the edition is small, and why yours does not exist until you claim it.

It is the difference between owning a product and owning a piece.

Enquiries

Before you reserve.

What does “edition of 100” mean?+

The Eagle is released as one hundred individually numbered pieces. Each carries its own number and certificate. When all hundred are claimed, the edition closes permanently — it is never reproduced.

Why is it made to order?+

Each pendant is carved, opal-set and hand-finished by a single artisan once you reserve it. This keeps the edition genuinely limited and ensures the piece is made to a standard, not to a quota. Please allow 4–6 weeks.

Will the fire opal scratch or fade?+

It is a solid, natural opal sphere — cradled, not glued — and with everyday care it keeps its fire for generations. Each piece includes lifetime re-polishing, and we are always here to refresh it.

What chain does it come on?+

The Eagle arrives on a baroque-pearl and gold strand, cradled in the hand-painted Peak keepsake box. Prefer a plain gold chain instead? Note it at checkout and we will accommodate.

Is $215 really the price for something like this?+

Yes. By releasing direct and in small editions, we offer couture-level carving, a full opal sphere and hand-set diamond at a fraction of traditional fine-jewelry markups. Payment over four instalments is available with Klarna.

What if it isn't right for me?+

Return it within 30 days for a full refund. The keepsake box and certificate are yours to keep, and lifetime re-polishing is included for every owner.
